Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Have 3-5 years of experience working as a preschool teacher.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Early Childhood Education principles and practices.
- Exhibit strong Classroom Management skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
- Display Patience and understanding when working with young children with diverse learning needs.
- Utilize Creativity to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Child Development principles and milestones.
- Contribute to Curriculum Development by creating age-appropriate and stimulating learning materials.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs and styles of preschool children, incorporating elements of play-based learning, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional development, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all children.
- Observe and assess each child's individual progress, identifying areas of strength and areas needing support, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates and collaborate on strategies for growth.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to guide children's behavior, promote positive interactions, and teach conflict resolution skills, fostering a sense of community and respect within the classroom.
- Integrate early childhood education principles and best practices into daily routines and activities, ensuring alignment with established curriculum guidelines and promoting school readiness skills.
- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote physical development, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills, such as outdoor play, art projects, and music and movement activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin, providing regular updates on their child's progress, addressing concerns, and fostering a strong home-school partnership.
