All about the role:
We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Engineer passionate about testing activities and electronic equipment to be used on daily basis to be introduced in the Compressor & Components Lab based in Susegana TV Italy.
Compressor & Components Lab is in charge of selecting, testing and qualify main components for household appliance, in cooperation with global suppliers. The candidate will work in an international team, with strong connection with other departments like Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D with global perspective.
What you’ll do:
She/he will ensure that the compressors/components will be tested according internal procedures and international standards in an autonomous way and with a high level of accuracy.
In detail, you will:
- Assist and lead testing activities according internal procedures and international standards on compressors/components in several fields like:
- Electromechanical Measurements
- Flammability
- Reliability and Envinronment Stress
- Thermodynamics
- Noise and Vibration
- Issue reports and manage the documentation of testing activities
- Guarantee proper storage and management of samples tested
- Participate actively to the process of compressors/components approval flow
- Suggest and be pro-active in new testing methods to increase the overall efficiency of the Lab
- Guarantee continuous material supply of the Lab consumables
- Prepare simple cooling system circuits using manual welding station
- Be able to design and realize simple testing set-ups with data automation and controlling
Who you are:
- Technical background
- Basic knowledge of the typical instruments of an electromechanical lab like voltmeter, oscilloscope, thermocouples, sensors
- Basic Knowledge of data acquisition software (like Labview) or development environment like Arduino is a plus
- Previous experiences in similar position will be appreciated

You will be based in Electrolux main Food Preservation global site, in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4.0 investment.
