Job Description
  1. Manage end-to-end purchasing process for raw materials and OEM products.
  2. Handle sourcing activities including identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers.
  3. Communicate and negotiate with China suppliers (in Mandarin) and local suppliers.
  4. Manage import procurement including shipment coordination, documentation, and delivery tracking.
  5. Request quotations, conduct price comparison, and support cost negotiation.
  6. Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure proper documentation (PO, DO, Invoice).
  7. Monitor order status, ETA, and supplier delivery schedule.
  8. Resolve supply issues and ensure continuity of supply.
  9. Maintain accurate supplier and cost records in the system.
  10. Support cost-saving initiatives and rebate program implementation.
  11. Ensure compliance with procurement SOP and internal processes.
  12. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (warehouse, sales, production).
  13. Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee as necessary.
Requirements
  1. Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
  2. Candidates with prior experience in import or logistics will have an added advantage.
  3. Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration / Economics or related discipline.
  4. Independently with minimum supervision and a team player.
  5. Willing to learn.
  6. Strong prioritising skills, ability to multi-task and result driven.
  7. Possesses excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  8. Malaysian only.
Salary : RM2,500.00 - 3,200.00 per month

Working Location : Balakong, Selangor
