Procurement Assistant

Possess at least SPM/STPM/Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business / Supply Chain or equivalent
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Assisting superior to request quotation from suppliers and make a comparison
- Arrange transportation schedule for superior approval
- Update the supplier database and unit rates in the system
- Ad hoc task from our store or office
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure competitivenes in pricing, quality, and delivery performance
- Prepare and issue purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related documentation in accordance with company procedures
- Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Liase with internal departments (e.g., site team and store) to ensure procurement requirements are accurately captured and fulfilled
- Verify and reconcile supplier invoices, delivery orders, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy prior to submission for payment
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of procurement records for audit and reference purposes
- Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers under the guidance of the superior
- Support in resolving discrepancies, delays, or issues related to supply and delivery
