• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture
• Lead development efforts for new applications and services, including new projects
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Define and enforce coding standards and architectural best practices
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, Product Managers, and Frontend Engineers
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
• Contribute to system architecture design and decision-making
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring junior team members

• 6+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher) and Spring Boot framework
• Solid understanding of microservices design principles and patterns
• Experience building systems from scratch, including project setup, database design, and deployment
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and asynchronous processing
• Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong problem-solving skills and a performance-driven mindset

• Experience with domain-driven design (DDD)
• Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams
• Exposure to frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus
