This role requires a Technical Engineer/Manager with expertise in plastic mold injection and PVC extrusion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and leadership experience to oversee operations and drive process improvements. The role involves leading production operations, managing technical projects from start to finish, and ensuring all documentation complies with ISO and industry standards.
key responsibilities- Operations & Process Management: Lead and optimize plastic injection molding and PVC extrusion processes. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to reduce downtime. Interpret and develop detailed wiring diagrams for machine upgrades and repairs.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of technicians and operators. Conduct technical skills assessments and arrange ongoing training. Foster a team culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Project & Documentation Management: Manage technical projects from planning to completion. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and production data. Ensure all documentation complies with ISO and industry standards.
- Education: A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- Experience: You should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in plastic mold injection and PVC extrusion. Proven leadership experience in managing technical or production teams is also essential.
- Technical Skills: A strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and tooling is a must. You must also be proficient in reading and creating wiring diagrams.
- Soft Skills: You should possess good communication skills in both English and Mandarin (dealing with China customer). The ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities is also key.
