Reporting directly to the Head of School, you will lead the development and delivery of the EAL program:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide direction for EAL provision across all year levels, managing timetabling, student placement, and the allocation of support resources.
- Curriculum & Instruction: Develop and refine an EAL curriculum aligned with international benchmarks while delivering high-quality instruction and modeling best practices for staff.
- Staff Mentorship: Support and mentor EAL teachers and teaching assistants while providing training to mainstream classroom teachers on differentiated instruction.
- Assessment & Monitoring: Oversee screening and placement tests, using data to track language acquisition progress and inform intervention strategies.
- Student Wellbeing: Support the academic and social-emotional needs of EAL learners, ensuring they are integrated into the school's social and linguistic culture.
- On-campus Housing: Fully provided accommodation and meals, including coverage for dependents.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Qualifications: A recognized teaching qualification such as a PGCE, TESOL, or TEFL.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of teaching experience, specifically including EAL/ESL, with a strong preference for candidates with leadership experience.
