Procurement Intern (Buy-to-Pay Focus)

Are you passionate about procurement, cost analysis, and working in a fast-paced project environment? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the full Buy-to-Pay (B2P) cycle.

This is a great opportunity to build real-world exposure in procurement operations, commercial evaluation, and stakeholder management.

What You Will Learn & Do

Procurement Fundamentals (Week 1–2)
Understand Procurement Policies, SOPs, and Delegation of Authority
Learn end-to-end procurement workflow (PR → PO → Contract)
Assist in process mapping and requirements gathering
Purchase Requisition & Sourcing Support (Week 2–6)
Support users in preparing Purchase Requisitions (PR)
Ensure completeness and accuracy of PR submissions
Assist in RFQ issuance and supplier communication
Follow up on open PRs and sourcing activities
Quotation & Commercial Evaluation (Week 3–10)
Assist in quotation analysis and price comparisons
Understand cost breakdowns, preliminaries, and exclusions
Identify pricing variances and potential commercial risks
System Exposure (Week 2–12)
Gain hands-on experience with procurement systems (e.g. Precoro)
Learn PR-to-PO workflow within the system
Support user role reviews and system data clean-up
Stakeholder Engagement (Throughout Internship)
Work closely with Project, Engineering, Finance & Vendors
Participate in coordination and clarification discussions
Build strong communication and teamwork skills
Final Capstone Project (Final Weeks)
Identify improvement opportunities in the Buy-to-Pay process
Present findings and recommendations to the team
