Human Resources Assistant Manager

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role
- Experience in the manufacturing or furniture industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Proficient in HRIS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions
- Oversee onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve retention
- Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback systems
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for factory, sales, and office employees
- Collaborate with external training providers and monitor program effectiveness
- Support succession planning and career development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain accurate HR records, payroll inputs, and employee data in HRIS/ERP systems
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction
- Support organizational change initiatives and cultural development programs
