We understand what brands need, and we focus on helping them find their true purpose and voice in a crowded marketplace. We are looking for a capable, confident and driven PR and Activations Manager to lead the charge and drive operations and growth for the agency in these key areas.

In your role, you will be required to lead your own team and manage a portfolio of diverse clientele, be responsible for your team’s growth and performance, and client satisfaction, as well as the overall health, growth, and profitability of your accounts.

THE ROLE INVOLVES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Leading and driving the operations on all public relations and activations – related projects on a day – to – day basis, acting as principle point of contact between the agency and clients.
  2. Delivering creative, effective and results – driven campaigns for your clients.
  3. Develop and execute PR / activation strategies that elevate our clients’ brands.
  4. Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service and measurable results.
  5. Drive client satisfaction through proactive communication and seamless execution.
  6. Ensuring overall health and profitability of your accounts through effective management of your accounts’ P&L.
  7. Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with clients / media / vendors / influencers and always striving to improve the quality of the services that the agency provides.
  8. Lead the preparation and development of all written materials (press releases / articles / speeches / briefing documents / fact sheets / press kits etc.) for PR / activation projects.
  9. Managing timesheets, deadlines and reporting for both internal and external purposes.
  10. Lead the charge on pitching and proposals specific to PR / influencers / activations.
  11. Mentoring, leading and growing your own team.
  12. Minimum of 4 years of proven hands-on experience in public relations and activations, preferably in an agency setting.
  13. Proven experience running successful and impactful public relations campaigns at a national/regional level. Experience in running government-related campaigns is a bonus.

  15. Able to run influencer campaigns (on-ground and social media).
  16. A data-driven approach: experience in using and leveraging on media/research/listening tools to enhance campaign results and strategies.
  17. Must have good relationship with media / influencers with own database of media and influencer contacts.
  18. Excellent research and analytical skills.
  19. Ability to plan, strategize, and execute – based on a keen understanding of internal team structure and functions, client interaction, and the overall spectrum of brand marketing and communications.
  20. Acute attention to detail.
  21. Excellent communication, management, and presentation skills.
  22. Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  23. High levels of proactiveness and initiative, with an ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  24. Great time management skills – for yourself and for others.
  25. A ‘never quit’ attitude, with an inclination to always find a solution.
  26. Excellent oral and written communication skills - high level of proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must. The ability to speak and write in other languages is a bonus.
  27. A perfectionist who does great work (and builds great presentation decks!).
