Experience: Proven experience as a production planner or in a similar manufacturing/supply chain role.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to forecast demand and optimize schedules.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional team coordination.
  • Production Scheduling: Developing and maintaining daily, weekly, or monthly production schedules to meet customer orders and inventory targets.
  • Inventory & Material Management: Coordinating with procurement to ensure raw materials are available while optimizing inventory levels to avoid shortages.
  • Workflow Optimization: Analyzing production data to identify bottlenecks and implementing improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Coordination & Communication: Collaborating with sales, logistics, and manufacturing teams to align production with company goals.
  • Problem Resolution: Monitoring production progress and resolving issues (e.g., machine downtime, labor shortages) to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Reporting: Preparing performance reports regarding production status for management. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
