Senior Accounts Payable Executive

The APAC Corporate team is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Executive to take ownership of the full AP function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Delivery- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, expense claims, payment runs (ACH, telegraphic transfers, cheques), and vendor management.
- Ensure all AP activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead credit card reconciliations and maintain the credit card register.
- Manage the AP mailbox, resolving queries promptly and professionally.
- Supervise the upload and posting of weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly regional field vouchers.
- Support the Finance and Project Management teams with reporting, process documentation, and system improvements.
- Drive the use of technology and innovation to improve AP processes and introduce new ways of working.
- Assist in risk management, quality assurance, and maintaining accurate business data.
- Act as a subject matter expert for AP-related queries, providing proactive support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build capability within the team, role model positive behaviours, and support the onboarding and training of junior team members.
- Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to process improvement through innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Work collaboratively across departments to resolve complex issues and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Report directly to the Senior Finance Executive (APAC).
- Attend team meetings, regional town halls, and regular 1:1 meetings.
- Liaise with APAC Corporate, project teams, colleagues, service providers, and other stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid financial and commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks under pressure.
