THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is an Australian-owned Energy Consultancy with the mission of helping businesses, large and small, navigate through the complex energy transition to cleaner and more sustainable renewable energy. Trusted by some of the largest businesses in Australia, they provide a comprehensive suite of high-quality energy management services to over 10,000 business locations across Australia and New Zealand, and quickly growing.

Their current engagement includes many exciting energy projects, including several national large-scale renewable projects.

As a Customer Support Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in providing customer support to their growing client base, located in Australia. In this role you will be on the front line of their support service, a dedicated resource to assist Australian customers with managing the day-to-day requirements of their portfolio of energy accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver prompt, professional responses to all customer enquiries to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Build strong rapport with customers through proactive communication and a customer-first approach.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and empathetically, striving for first-contact resolution where possible.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance targets and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with key third-party suppliers to support seamless service delivery.
  • Provide timely and accurate assistance to internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal delays.
  • Accurately maintain records, databases, and documentation to support transparency and operational effectiveness.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
  • Excellent English Language communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset.
  • Previous experience in using CRM’s and Microsoft Excel is highly preferable.
  • Existing knowledge or understanding of the Australian energy market is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and operational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking.
