What you'll do:
As Senior Manager Transformation and Project Governance based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be instrumental in orchestrating the smooth operation of complex transformation programmes. - Prepare and coordinate materials for key governance forums such as the Transformation Committee, including agenda planning, deck consolidation, minutes drafting, and action tracking to ensure meetings are productive and outcomes are clearly documented.
- Maintain the accuracy of the Book of Work within the portfolio management tool (ClickUp), managing enhancements as needed to support evolving business requirements.
- Oversee governance calendars by tracking agenda items, actions, and decisions while ensuring timely follow-through on all commitments made during committee sessions.
- Foster strong relationships with workstream leads, project managers, finance, risk, and compliance teams to promote robust governance across all transformation initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point-of-contact for inquiries related to transformation governance processes and materials, providing clear guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics for workshops, committee meetings, and governance training sessions to facilitate effective knowledge transfer and engagement across teams.
- Produce comprehensive portfolio dashboards, benefit tracking reports, and risk summaries with accuracy and consistency for senior management review.
- Draft, edit, and maintain governance documentation including policies, procedures, templates, and terms of reference to ensure clarity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Consolidate updates from project leads into concise reports for senior management while maintaining central repositories for documentation to guarantee traceability.
- Assist with project tiering activities, change control requests, benefit tracking efforts, tool implementation, template rollouts, process improvements, risk tracking, issue escalation, assurance activities with Risk & Compliance partners, audit support tasks, administration of shared resources such as mailboxes or SharePoint sites/files, document quality monitoring, version control enforcement, and overall coordination across Transformation-related functions.

Your understanding of transformation/change/project lifecycle concepts allows you not only to support but also improve existing frameworks/tools/templates/processes used by colleagues across multiple functions.
Analytical acumen is second nature—you instinctively spot potential risks/issues/dependencies early on then collaborate constructively with others (including Risk/Compliance/Audit) so these can be addressed promptly. Your advanced IT literacy ensures seamless use of productivity software/digital platforms required for modern portfolio oversight/documentation/reporting needs.

- 8–12 years’ experience in governance operations or project management office roles within technology or operations functions—ideally gained in financial services or related sectors where regulatory compliance is paramount.
- Exceptional writing skills demonstrated by preparing high-quality materials for senior management audiences including presentations, reports, policies or procedures.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while delivering work with meticulous attention to detail under pressure.
- Familiarity with transformation programmes or change management concepts along with practical exposure to full project lifecycles is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset supported by critical thinking abilities—especially when it comes to risk identification/mitigation strategies or performance reporting aligned with strategic objectives.
- Highly organised approach combined with a solutions-oriented attitude that enables you to proactively address challenges before they escalate.
- Collaborative interpersonal style that fosters positive relationships across teams—ensuring information flows smoothly between stakeholders at all levels.
