key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java Spring Boot
- Develop and integrate Kafka-based messaging systems for real-time data processing
- Implement Redis for caching and performance optimization
- Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on cloud platforms
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Participate in system architecture discussions and design reviews
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability and uptime
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews
requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development experience using Java
- Strong expertise with Spring Boot, including dependency injection, RESTful APIs, and JPA/Hibernate
- Solid hands-on experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, stream processing)
- Proficiency in implementing Redis for caching and data storage
- Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud
- Strong understanding of system design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
nice to haves:
- Experience working on payment systems, digital wallets, or financial transaction platforms
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance in financial applications
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
- Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
