Java engineer (senior/lead) - up to rm20k

We’re partnering with several tech-driven companies in Kuala Lumpur that are actively expanding their backend teams. These are stable, growth-focused environments ranging from fintech and enterprise platforms to product-based startups - all looking for experienced Java engineers to drive high-impact projects.

• Design and build scalable backend systems using Java and modern frameworks
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable features
• Participate in architecture discussions and shape technical decisions
• Work with microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based environments
• Drive code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical growth

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Solid understanding of Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks
• Familiar with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and message queues
• Experience working with version control (e.g., Git) and familiarity with CI/CD tools or container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bonus: Experience in cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) or event-driven architecture
