Account Assistant

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years experience in accounting will be an added advantage

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles (debit & credit)
• Familiar with accounting software such as SQL Accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support our finance operations. The candidate will assist in daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial records, and support month-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting tasks including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform data entry for invoices, receipts, and payments
• Assist in bank reconciliation
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances
• Assist in month-end closing and reporting
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties (e.g. auditors, bankers)
• Ensure compliance with company SOP and accounting standards
