M&E Engineer
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience:
‐ Minimum 2‐3 year’s experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering
‐ Experience in food manufacturing or frozen food industry
‐ CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) for mechanical design
‐ 3‐phase electrical wiring and power distribution knowledge is an advantage
‐ Electrical troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment
‐ Understanding of food‐grade materials, electrical safety standards, and temperature control
systems
‐ Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills
‐ Ability to work independently and in teams
‐ Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Mechanical Design & Maintenance:
‐ Design and develop machines for frozen food production (forming, wrapping, packaging machines)
‐ Troubleshoot mechanical issues on production equipment (mixers, conveyors, freezers)
‐ Perform mechanical maintenance and root cause analysis
Electrical Systems & Automation:
‐ Design and install electrical control systems for production machinery
‐ Perform 3‐phase electrical wiring and power distribution for industrial equipment
‐ Troubleshoot electrical problems including motor failures, sensor malfunctions, and power issues
‐ Maintain electrical panels, motor drives, and sensor systems
‐ Implement automation solutions to improve production efficiency
General Engineering:
‐ Create technical drawings using CAD software for both mechanical and electrical designs
‐ Ensure all systems comply with food safety standards (HACCP/GMP) and electrical safety codes
‐ Support production team for both mechanical and electrical issues
‐ Coordinate with maintenance team on preventive maintenance schedules
