Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  1. Recruitment & Staffing
  • Develop job descriptions and specifications
  • Post job advertisements and manage recruitment channels
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews
  • Coordinate with department heads on hiring needs
  • Onboard new employees
  1. Employee Relations
  • Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts
  • Promote a positive workplace culture
  • Mediate disputes between employees or between employees and management
  • Conduct exit interviews
  1. Compensation & Benefits
  • Develop and manage salary structures and benefit programs
  • Handle payroll administration (often in coordination with Finance)
  • Ensure compliance with tax and labor laws
  1. Training & Development
  • Assess training needs and create development programs
  • Coordinate or conduct training sessions
  • Monitor performance and career progression
  1. Performance Management
  • Implement performance appraisal systems
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback
  • Support managers in goal-setting and evaluations
  1. HR Policy & Compliance
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations
  • Maintain employee records and confidentiality
  1. Strategic HR Planning
  • Align HR strategies with company objectives
  • Analyze HR metrics and suggest improvements
  • Contribute to workforce planning and organizational structure design
  1. HR Administration
  • Maintain HR software and databases
  • Prepare reports for senior management
  • Manage employee records and documentation
  • EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions.
