HR Manager (Project & Transformation)

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial industry to hire a HR Manager. This opportunity is based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for supporting regional HR operations and transformation initiatives across Malaysia & APAC region, with a focus on digitalisation and process improvement. The position will play a key role in supporting HR operational excellence while aligning regional practices with global frameworks.

Job description:

• Support APAC HR operations and oversee day-to-day HR processing activities across the region
• Drive HR centralisation and digitalisation initiatives, including database migration, process standardisation, and system improvements
• Support the implementation and alignment of HR processes in accordance with global HR frameworks and regional requirements
• Optimise HR systems and reporting tools such as Workday and Power BI dashboards to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
• Support HR shared services operations and coordinate with internal stakeholders across multiple countries within APAC
• Manage operational HR tasks while balancing multiple priorities and ongoing regional projects
• Support the development and enhancement of employee engagement platforms across the APAC region
• Assist in developing career frameworks, grading structures, and HR policies aligned with organisational objectives
• Work closely with regional HR leadership to support ongoing HR transformation and optimisation projects

Key Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 5-8 years of experience in a similar field
• Experience in HR operations or HR generalist functions within a regional environment
• Exposure to HR transformation or process improvement initiatives is an advantage

• Familiarity with Workday and HR reporting tools such as Power BI
• Experience supporting HR operations and employee engagement initiatives
• Understanding of HR processes, systems, and policy alignment

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on, adaptable, and proactive working style
