Senior Architect Assistant - Kluang
SFS Architecture Sdn Bhd Kluang Full-time
Responsible for leading the drafting department to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Review architectural drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design intent.
- Verify correct use of layers, line weights, hatching, symbols, and annotation standards.
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and local building codes.
- Identify discrepancies, omissions, or errors and mark redlines for correction.
- Liaise with architects and junior draftsmen to resolve issues.
- Conduct final quality checks before drawing submissions or client deliveries.
- Assist in training junior draftsmen and mentoring junior architects on drawing standards.
- Maintain organised files and materials throughout the design and drafting phases to ensure efficient workflow and project continuity.
- Proficiency with architectural-related software such as AutoCad and Sketch Up.
- Knowledge of Revit and other rendering software is an added advantage.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with the Adobe suit of Programs including Acrobat & Photoshop.
- Good knowledge & understanding on construction / tender working drawings, building technology, building plan submission drawings such as Site Plan, Floor Plan, Elevation, Section, blow up details etc.
- Good Knowledge on the all building materials specification applied in all drawings.
- Good Knowledge on building submission drawings standard, procedure from (KM, JP, KT, BP, LA)
- Good Knowledge on the UBBL building by law / Bomba by law, to always keep this practice in mind & make sure it is always apply to work given.
- Good communication & coordination skill with junior / other consultants.
