• Document essential product data needed for creating new offerings, including information required for quotations, policies, claims, and more.
• Capture comprehensive business rules that enable automated workflows and support rules-based decision-making within the platform.
• Configure products, processes, and business rules in the system using provided tools and resources, with extensive training available to support your success.
• Collaborate closely with IT vendors, external partners, and internal delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered pragmatically and meet agreed timelines.
• Support agile project delivery by participating in ceremonies, refining user stories, and adapting quickly to changing requirements as part of a cross-functional team.

What you bring:

You are adept at translating intricate requirements into clear documentation that underpins successful automation initiatives. Your comfort with SQL enables you to interrogate data effectively while your prior coding exposure helps bridge conversations between business users and developers.

• A minimum of seven years’ experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in engaging collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels to elicit requirements and build consensus around proposed solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis purposes coupled with strong documentation skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Prior exposure to coding in any technology stack is highly regarded as it supports effective communication with technical teams.
• Recent hands-on experience working within Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban is considered advantageous.
• A solid understanding of IT project delivery processes including agile methodologies and DevOps practices enhances your ability to contribute meaningfully from day one.
• Exceptional analytical skills paired with a methodical approach enable you to dissect complex problems and propose actionable improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities allow you to build trust-based relationships while influencing outcomes through considerate communication.
• A keen eye for detail ensures accuracy when documenting requirements or configuring system elements relevant to insurance products.
