Job Summary:
We are seeking a HR Manager to join a spice manufacturing company, Puteri APS Manja Sdn. Bhd.. The HR Manager is responsible for leading the Human Resources department, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture.This role involves overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment regulations. The HR Manager will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s business goals.
- Lead the HR team to deliver effective HR services and initiatives.
- Recruitment & Talent Management
- Plan and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee employee onboarding, training, and career development programs.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and engagement initiatives.
- Address and resolve employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
- Performance Management & Training
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
- Develop training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Ensure competitive salary structures and benefits packages.
- Oversee payroll and statutory contributions compliance.
- HR Compliance & Policy Implementation.
- Ensure adherence to Malaysian labor laws and company HR policies.
- Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Workplace Health & Safety
- Collaborate with the Safety and Health Committee to ensure workplace safety compliance.
- Implement wellness programs and occupational health initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
- Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and compensation & benefits administration.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and verbal).
