Area Sales Manager (Melaka & Johor)

Requirements:

• Proven sales experience, preferably within the FMCG and Toiletries sectors.
• A demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
• Manage, train, and mentor the territory's sales team, including Sales Representatives, Supervisors, Executives, and Promoters.
• Set clear, achievable sales targets and actively monitor team performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
• Track and analyze sales performance for individual wholesalers and retailers against set targets.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to present new products, promotions, and company initiatives to both potential and existing customers.
• Employ a variety of communication methods—including outbound calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings—to effectively close sales.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers to ensure customer retention and ongoing business.
• Implement a strategic sales management process to identify, target, and prioritize key customers and prospects.
