Marketing Assistant Manager - Outlet Event & Promotion - Kuala Lumpur

Min. Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business or Mass Comm.
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in retail/event/digital marketing.
  • Proven experience managing event campaigns from A–Z with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong coordination, project management & communication skills.
  • Able to travel and attend events (including weekends if required).
  • Resourceful, data-driven, result-oriented, and flexible to adapt fast.

To lead and execute end-to-end retail event marketing strategies for Goodnite outlets, ensuring event effectiveness, customer traffic, and sales conversion through integrated digital and on-ground efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Planning & Coordination

Work closely with sales & outlet teams to gather accurate event briefs and objectives.

Plan and lead in-store campaigns, promotions, and events across all Goodnite retail outlets.
  1. Digital Marketing & Advertising

Create an online marketing strategy to promote each event via Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Rednote, and WhatsApp channels.

Plan, execute, and optimize ad campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.) with traffic & conversion objectives.

Adjust creatives/media spending based on real-time performance while controlling within the set budget.
  1. KOC / Content Shooting

Coordinate with content creators/KOCs for event content, brief them, and ensure high-converting storylines.

Attend shoots if needed to ensure alignment with brand and event goals.
  1. On-Ground Execution & Monitoring

Ensure seamless execution of promotional materials, merchandising, and outlet activation.

Support the outlet team during events to ensure sufficient walk-in traffic and resolve any on-ground needs.

Monitor footfall and sales conversion — flag and act fast if the event underperforms.
  1. Post-Event Review
Collect feedback, analyze the event's success, and prepare a report with suggested improvements.
  1. Team & Vendor Liaison

Coordinate with external vendors (designers, printers, etc.) to deliver all marketing collaterals on time.

Liaise with internal teams for approvals, alignment, and asset sharing.
