Operations Manager (Beauty Saloon)
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 5 years in a management role within the beauty or cosmetics industry.
Proven ability to lead sales-driven operations and manage multi-store retail environments.
Strong understanding of retail KPIs, sales analytics, and customer service standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment.
Possess own car.
Willingness to travel for outlet visits frequently (Klang Valley & Outstations) and operational reviews as required.
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in beauty retail operations to oversee our day-to-day centre performance. This role is responsible for managing the sales operations, optimizing staff working efficiency, ensuring excellent customer service standards, and driving overall business growth across our retail operations.The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in retail operations management within the beauty or cosmetics industry and possess strong leadership, analytical, and execution skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Operations Management
Oversee daily sales performance across all our retail outlets, ensuring alignment with sales targets and KPIs.
Analyse sales data and customer trends to drive business decisions and promotional strategies.
Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to execute retail campaigns, launches, and special promotions.- Operations Excellence
Ensure all centre operate efficiently and consistently in line with brand standards and SOPs.
Conduct regular store audits and visits to monitor performance, customer experience, visual merchandising, and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement in store productivity, staffing, inventory control, and operational workflows.- Team Leadership & Performance
Manage and support a team of retail supervisors and centre managers across various locations.
Collaborate with HR department to set clear a performance expectation, provide coaching and guidance, and ensure a high-performance culture.
Collaborate with Training Department Identify training needs and support the development of store teams, especially in beauty product knowledge and service standards.- Inventory Management
Oversee Purchasing Team in managing inventory levels, stock movements, and timely replenishment across stores.
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and merchandising teams to ensure smooth stock flow.- Customer Experience & Service Quality
Monitor and maintain high service standards, ensuring teams deliver a premium beauty retail experience.
Handle escalated customer issues and support stores in resolving service complaints promptly and professionally.- Operational Reporting & Strategy
Provide regular reports on centre performance, operational challenges, and improvement plans to senior management.
Contribute to business planning and expansion strategies, including new store openings or refurbishments.
