Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring principles, practices, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with electrical components, tools, and testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in performing basic electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise wiring and assembly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively interact with colleagues and supervisors.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures in the field of electrical wiring.
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to accurately determine wiring layouts and component placement.
- Install, connect, and terminate wires and cables according to specifications, using hand tools and power tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve wiring issues, including shorts, open circuits, and faulty connections, using testing equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers.
- Inspect and test completed wiring installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and functional requirements, documenting test results and any necessary corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of tools, equipment, and materials to prevent damage and ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist senior technicians in more complex wiring projects, gaining practical experience and developing advanced skills in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices, to prevent accidents and injuries.
