Our client: Our client is a multinational manufacturer of high precision industrial machinery

• Supervise and manage the operational buying team on a daily basis.
• Coach and develop operational buyers by clarifying their roles and responsibilities.
• Instruct operational buyers on expected tasks and monitor progress using KPIs.
• Conduct annual appraisals for the operational buying team.
• Enhance collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a point of contact for operational buyers for escalations related to delivery or supplier issues.
• Ensure the operational buying team maintains effective communication with suppliers to secure timely deliveries.
• Facilitate interaction between the operational buying team, category buying team, and material planning team.
• Develop, document, and continuously improve processes for translating purchase requests into purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery within the Quality Management System.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply chain management, Business Administration, or eEngineering, ideally complemented by certifications in Supply Chain or Procurement Management
• At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role and a minimum of 10 years of experience in operational procurement in contract manufacturing industry (semiconductor/ electronics industry)
• Experienced in direct raw materials purchasing for high part count (mechanical or mechatronic parts) and standard components within the Semiconductor industry
