HR Executive - Payroll

Requirements:
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years’ experience in payroll processing or HR operations, ideally in F&B or retail sector.
- Skills:
- Proficient in payroll systems.
- Attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Familiarity with Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS).
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise across departments.
- High confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive data.
Position Summary.
Reporting to HR Manager, the Payroll Executive is responsible for end-to-end payroll administration across various staff categories including full-timers, part-timers, and outsourced staff. This role ensures timely and accurate salary processing, statutory compliance, labour cost reporting, and coordination with relevant departments and external parties.
Key Roles & Responsibilities.- Payroll Processing.
- Perform full-cycle monthly payroll processing, including:
- Attendance checking
- Inclusion for deductions, allowances, and other pay items.
- Preparation of payroll summary and final payroll reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain and update the payroll system; liaise with vendors to resolve related issues.
- Coordinate with government bodies and auditors for payroll-related documentation.
- Part time staff administration.
- Handle weekly and monthly schedule checking for part time staff.
- Assist to prepare and process payment for part time salary.
- Communicate with restaurants PIC for approval matters
- Labour Cost
- Assist to prepare the outlet labour cost report weekly, monthly or as requested by the management
- Ensure the accuracy of the monthly labour cost reports.
- Employee Lifecycle
- New joiner registration into the HRMS.
- Process staff resignations .
- Update and transfer employee profiles based on requests from relevant departments.
- Outsourced staff coordination
- Verify outsource staff attendance records.
- Ensure the attendance is submitted to manpower agencies in timely manner.
- Verify and validate invoices received from manpower agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
