Job Description

• Responsible to ensure that all aspects of the aerodrome's design, operation, and maintenance comply with CAAM safety standards and regulations. This includes overseeing inspections, audits, and assessments to confirm that the aerodrome meets the regulatory requirements set by CAAM and other regulatory body such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
• The role also involves managing risk mitigation strategies, liaising with regulatory agencies, and guiding the implementation of best practices to ensure the safety, security, and efficiency of the aerodrome's operations.

• Oversee daily activities of Executive Operations and Safety Officers across all shifts.
• Ensure all team members understand and adhere to SOPs, safety regulations, and operational protocols.
• Act as the in-charge during major incidents or operational escalations.
• Monitor and evaluate overall airside operations to ensure efficient aircraft movements and ground handling.
• Lead the coordination between AOCC, Engineering Division, Airlines, ATC, and other stakeholders during irregular operations (IROPS), maintenance, or emergencies.
• Analyze incident trends, operational performance, and compliance statistics.
• Submit monthly operational performance reports to higher management, including suggestions for improvement.
• Identify training needs within the Operations and Safety teams.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions, refresher training, and competency checks for airside operational personnel.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee wildlife hazard management in accordance with SOPs and KUL AWHMP.
• Ensure regular inspections and reporting of wildlife sightings and mitigation actions.
• To prepare Accident & Incident Preliminary Report and MOR pertaining to aircraft related accident/incident

• Proficient in CAAM regulations especially Civil Aviation Directives (CAD) 14, CAD 19, CAGM 1401, CAGM 1403, CAGM 1405, CAGM 1902 and other CAAM SARPS as well ICAO Annexes, ICAO Aerodrome Design Manual, Airport Service Manual

• Strong Leadership and communication Skill
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Computer Literate
• Familiarity with aviation standards especially in CAAM Civil Aviation Directives, CAAM CAGM, ICAO SARPS and other related documents.
• Required skills: Radiotelephony Communication Skill, Supervisory Skill, airside operations knowledge & able to operate manual transmission vehicle.
• Energetic & Self Motivated.
• Willingness to perform a variety of jobs as requested.
• Good Proofreading skills.
• Takes initiative and can start/complete tasks with basic direction.
• Ability to learn & follow instructions.

Education

• Minimum Degree in any discipline, preferably Transport/ Operations, Aviation Management/Airport Management, Occupational Safety & Health, Zoology, Biodiversity or equivalent or
• Diploma in any discipline, preferably Transport/ Operations, Aviation Management/Airport Management, Occupational Safety & Health, Zoology, Biodiversity or equivalent. or
• Certificate in any discipline, preferably Transport/ Operations, Aviation Management/Airport Management, Occupational Safety & Health, Zoology, Biodiversity or equivalent.

• Minimum Degree in any discipline, preferably Transport/ Operations, Aviation Management/Airport Management, Occupational Safety & Health, Zoology, Biodiversity or equivalent.

Relevant Industries

• Degree holder with 2 years of relevant working experience in an Executive role or
• Diploma with 3 years working experience in an Executive airport operations or
• Certificate holder with 5 years of relevant working experience in an Executive airport operations role
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for
• two (2) consecutive years of at least: Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counseling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months

• Minimum Degree in any discipline, preferably Transport/ Operations, Aviation Management/Airport Management or equivalent.

• Strong Leadership
• Outgoing with good interpersonal skills
• Good writing and communication skills in both Bahasa Melayu and English
• Good computer knowledge, skills and can work with minimum supervision
