The hiring company is a growing manufacturer specializing in high-quality wooden picture frame mouldings, serving both domestic and export markets, and is currently expanding its commercial footprint.
Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, expand the customer base, and strengthen relationships within the wood-based and related industries. This role offers the opportunity to work within a larger group structure while driving business growth at the operating company level.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and international markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key clients
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and product opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market demand
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and business plans
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client engagements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar commercial role
- Experience in wood-based products, furniture, building materials, or related industries is an advantage
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Independent, results-oriented, and commercially driven
- Exposure to export markets and international trade is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Reporting to: Senior Management (Managing Director)
