A leading FMCG business is seeking a Head of HR Shared Services to drive the setup and transformation of its People Services operations in Kuala Lumpur, across APAC. As the architect of this transformation, you will be responsible for operational performance, financial stewardship, and building high-performing teams that deliver consistent excellence.

What you'll do:

• Lead the establishment of the APAC HR Shared Services, overseeing infrastructure, team setup, process design, and tech implementation to support future growth.
• Transform and optimise the hub, enhancing service quality, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction through innovative solutions.
• Partner with the Group HR Director to develop and execute a service delivery model aligned with group strategy and local needs.
• Ensure consistent delivery across pillars including: HR Helpdesk & Operations, Payroll & Rewards, Data & Reporting, and Talent & OD.
• Champion digital HR transformation, driving automation, reporting accuracy, and improved employee experience.
• Manage hub operations, including performance, budgeting, resource planning, and compliance with labour laws and governance standards.
• Leverage HR technologies like SuccessFactors and ServiceNow to streamline processes and ensure data privacy.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and satisfaction metrics to drive continuous service improvement.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners to support business growth.
• Lead and develop a diverse team, setting clear goals, coaching talent, and fostering a high-performance culture.

What you bring:

• Progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a shared services leadership role
• Proven track record in setting up and transforming HR shared services hubs across multiple geographies
• Strong background in HR technology implementation, payroll transformation, and process optimization
• Excellent working knowledge of internal and external trends in HR shared services
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field; advanced certifications in HR or shared services are a plus
• Strong project management and planning skills
• Budget management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese/Cantonese
