Marketing Assistant Manager (Digital)

Who We Are Looking For
  1. EducationBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  2. ExperienceMinimum 5 years of proven experience in marketing, with a strong portfolio of success in both digital and traditional campaigns targeting Chinese-speaking consumers.
  3. Language SkillsFluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and English.Ability to create, edit, and manage content in Mandarin is essential.
  4. Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of digital marketing tools, Chinese social platforms (WeChat, Weibo, XiaoHongShu, etc.), and analytics tools.Familiarity with SEO/SEM on Baidu and experience with Chinese CRM and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  5. Interpersonal SkillsStrategic thinker with excellent project management and communication skills.Demonstrated leadership with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Chinese Market Strategy Development
  • Design and execute culturally relevant, integrated marketing strategies tailored to the Chinese-speaking consumer market.
  • Lead initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty.
  1. Multi-Channel Campaign Execution
  • Manage marketing activities across Chinese digital platforms (e.g., WeChat, Weibo, XiaoHongShu, Baidu, Douyin) and traditional channels (events, print, partnerships).
  • Optimize campaigns based on market trends and customer engagement metrics.
  1. Budget & Performance Management
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets with a focus on ROI.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and provide strategic recommendations for ongoing optimization.
  1. Content & Brand Development
  • Oversee the creation of high-impact, culturally relevant marketing content across all platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging while adapting to regional preferences.
  1. Market Research & Insights
  • Conduct competitive analysis and consumer research to identify new opportunities and inform marketing strategies.
  • Maintain a pulse on evolving market trends, especially within Chinese-speaking communities.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and external partners to align efforts and enhance campaign effectiveness.
