Job Description
Position Overview:
AirAsia X Berhad is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Executive, Planning to join our engineering team. The Senior Planning Executive will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining an efficient and effective engineering planning and control system, ensuring the company’s aircraft, engines, components, and associated equipment are scheduled for maintenance in a timely and economical manner.This role ensures full compliance with company standards, manufacturer guidelines, and the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) regulations.
Main Responsibilities:

- Scheduling and Coordination:
- Supervision and Staff Coordination:
- Collaboration with Other Teams:
- Guidance and Instruction:
- Check Package & Forecast Management:
- Fleet & Maintenance Activity Monitoring:
- Housekeeping and Organization:
- Daily Operational Matters (In Manager’s Absence):
- Training & Competency Management:
- Task Cards Issuance:
- Additional Duties:
Take on any additional duties as assigned by the Planning Manager to support efficient planning and operations.
Education Requirements:
- A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
Minimum Working Experience:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning within an airline or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment.
Specific Functional Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, regulatory requirements, and airworthiness standards, particularly within Part 145 organizations.
- Experience with scheduling and maintenance management software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage and coordinate planning activities.
- Ability to work under pressure while ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience in managing teams and ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules.
