Junior CNC Machinist

• Senior Machinist: At least 3 years experience in operating a CNC-Milling machines independently.
• Junior Machinist: Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in setup of CNC milling machine for high precision parts production.
• Experience operating Fanuc and/or Okuma controller.
• Able to understand complex mechanical drawings. Understand complex dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T)
• Able to use measurement equipment to measure high precision parts. (dial indicator, micrometer, height gauge, pin gauges)
• Good track record of work discipline, positive attitude, good team player.
• Able to understand and communicate in English.
• Important: Candidate must be willing to work OT and a rotating shift.

• Independently setup a 5 axis CNC milling/ 3-axis CNC Milling machine for high precision part manufacturing.
• Run a CNC 5 axis CNC milling machine with +/-0.01mm precision.
• Perform in process quality control to confirm own parts production.
• For new programs adjust cutting parameters and optimize programs in cooperation with CAM programmers.
• Guide juniors in running 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines.

• Independently set up machines and adjust machine tools, fixtures, and cutting tools to ensure optimal performance and precision.
• Review set up workpieces, mechanical drawings and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence and dimensions.
• Produce parts within required specifications and tolerances range of +/-10 to 20 micron.

Both positions will need to :

• Perform preventive maintenance on daily and weekly basis to ensure good performance of CNC machines.
• Run other machines from time to time if this is requested by superiors.
