Qualifications & Skills
  • Min. LCCI, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting ideally in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, legal compliance requirements, and document verification.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a proactive mindset.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia languages are required.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties
  • Record and reconcile daily sales and collections in the system and accounts.
  • Prepare monthly accrual journal entries and ensure accuracy.
  • Issue tax invoices and credit notes for inter-company transactions.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile debtor accounts and inter-company balances.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for monthly management reports.
  • Maintain proper financial records and assist with month-end closing.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
  • Process vendor invoices, staff claims, and prepare payment vouchers.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Support cash flow tracking and expense monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies.
  • Provide documents and information for audits.
  • Participate in monthly stock counts and assist with inventory checks.
  • Resolve billing issues and liaise with vendors as needed.
Operational Duties
  • Coordinate inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and stock replenishment.
  • Oversee logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and distribution.
  • Manage vendor relations, including sourcing, negotiations, and service agreements.
  • Assist in optimizing internal processes for better efficiency.
  • Support procurement activities, including purchase order processing and cost analysis.
  • Monitor office supplies and operational needs, coordinating purchases accordingly.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Address operational challenges and recommend solutions to improve workflow.
