Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Admin, Management, Law, or related field

  • Familiarity with IP concepts (e.g. trademarks, patents) preferred
  • Knowledge of MyIPO procedures or legal documentation is a plus
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client documents
  • Time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn IP systems or CRM tools used in legal environments

  • Assist in preparing formal documents such as client letters, billing invoices, and IP-related correspondence (e.g., trademark or patent filings), ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
  • Communicate billing status and queries professionally, addressing client concerns related to filing fees, renewals, and service timelines
  • Update internal records and workflow systems to reflect current status of applications, deadlines, and client portfolios, ensuring traceability and audit readiness
  • Gain exposure to specialized IP business systems, such as docketing software, CRM tools, and document management platforms used by law firms or IP agencies
  • Practice precision in professional communication, drafting emails, coordinating client meetings, and engaging with legal and technical teams regarding filings or procedural updates
  • Develop organizational agility by managing deadline-driven tasks, filing systems, and process tracking in alignment with IP regulations and client agreements
  • Provide support in ad-hoc administrative and client service duties, including organizing IP portfolios, preparing fee estimates, and assisting in procedural responses to local or international authorities
