Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Additional certification in administration or finance is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably within an investment firm, financial institution, or corporate environment.
- Familiarity with investment terminology, financial documents, and reporting processes is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Bloomberg.
- Ability to prepare reports, minutes, and professional correspondence.
- Good understanding of financial documents such as investment reports, portfolios, and contracts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong multitasking ability and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Professional, proactive, and reliable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
- Discreet and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Provide full secretarial and administrative support to the investment team and senior executives.
- Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings related to investment activities.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of investment reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Maintain and organize investment records, files, and databases.
- Track investment deadlines, submissions, and approvals.
- Draft and format correspondence, reports, and internal memos related to investments.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of investment-related documents.
- Support in preparing materials for investor meetings and board presentations.
- Act as a point of contact between the investment team, clients, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Coordinate communication with financial institutions, partners, and service providers.
- Ensure all documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and investment information.
- Assist in basic financial tracking, data entry, and record reconciliation.
- Support ad hoc tasks related to investment projects and business operations.
