- Demonstrate a strong understanding of basic auditing principles and tax regulations.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve audit-related issues.
- Demonstrate a commitment to compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and audit software AXP and ABOT is an advantage.
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the supervision of senior team members.
- Perform audit procedures to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including testing internal controls and substantive testing of transactions and balances.
- Prepare audit work papers and documentation in accordance with auditing standards and firm policies.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior team members.
- Assist with tax compliance work, including the preparation of tax returns and related schedules.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and address inquiries.
- Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and anomalies in financial data.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
