Job Summary:
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead new business growth for a real estate agency. This role focuses on acquiring property listings, engaging building owners and landlords, developing new opportunities, and building long-term client relationships to support sustained revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is confident in senior client-facing environments, understands the real estate ecosystem, and is able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, from direct outreach and listing acquisition through to negotiation, mandate conversion, and deal closure.
What will you need to do:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use real estate, supported by market research into client needs, emerging opportunities, competitive positioning, and pricing dynamics
- Conduct snapshot market studies following client engagements to inform pricing and go-to-market strategies, including:
- Benchmarking developer primary pricing for unsold or upcoming units within the same development
- Reviewing subsale pricing and positioning by competing agents in the secondary market
- Assessing current bank valuation benchmarks to inform pricing, financing structure, and packaging recommendations
- Develop and execute business development strategies, building and managing a structured sales pipeline from lead generation through to mandate conversion and deal closure
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with property developers, landlords, asset owners, investors, and strategic partners, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the engagement
- Proactively engage clients through meetings, outreach, and industry events to expand networks and generate listing and mandate opportunities
- Lead and coordinate proposals, pitches, RFPs, and tender submissions, including preparation of presentations, commercial proposals, and supporting documentation
- Support contract negotiations and assist in closing commercial agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Work closely with internal delivery, strategy, and marketing teams to translate client needs into effective solutions and high-quality proposals
- Share market intelligence and client feedback to inform service development, client retention, and strategic planning
- Track business development activity, pipeline progression, and conversion metrics, preparing regular reports on opportunities and revenue performance
- Contribute to forecasting, planning, and broader strategic growth discussions

Qualifications:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related discipline
✅ Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably within real estate, property, or professional services
✅ Strong understanding of real estate markets and client decision-making processes
✅ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
