about the job

This role requires a Service Manager to lead the maintenance operations, focusing on maintaining high standards of operational continuity, optimizing standard operating procedures (SOPs), addressing urgent operational issues, and ensuring that all maintenance strategies.

key responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all routine maintenance operations are performed accurately and efficiently according to current SOPs across all locations.
  • SOP Management: Regularly assess, refine, update, or eliminate SOPs to ensure their relevance, sustainability, and impact, driving greater efficiency through innovation and implementation of operational improvements.
  • Crisis Management: Respond swiftly to unexpected maintenance issues, providing immediate solutions to prevent operational disruptions and developing long-term strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and analyze maintenance costs as reflected in profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure cost-effectiveness. Strategize to optimize machine uptime and response times while effectively managing labor and spare parts costs.
requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record in maintenance management, preferably in a retail or service industry with multiple locations.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities and decision-making capabilities.
  • Financial Acumen: Financial literacy with experience in managing budgets and reducing costs; essential for aligning maintenance operations with financial objectives and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in engineering, physics, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or actuarial science.
  • Crisis Management: Crucial for quickly resolving unexpected challenges, minimizing downtime, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
