They are looking to hire a Business Development Director, APAC to be based remotely in KL.

about the job
  • Drive annual revenue growth by securing multiple high-value deals with new brand partners across the Asia region.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business growth strategies aimed at achieving multi-million dollar revenue targets.
  • Lead end-to-end business development efforts, identifying and cultivating new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Build and manage executive-level relationships, engaging C-suite stakeholders across various functions to influence decision-making.
  • Negotiate and finalise commercial terms for new engagements and contract renewals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Client Services and Rewards teams to align project execution with client expectations and performance metrics.
  • Strengthen client loyalty by nurturing long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts.
  • Partner with the APAC Managing Director to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic alliances and business partnerships.

about the requirements
  • Self-starter who can rapidly build new accounts using their robust network of executive buyers and influencers - relationship-selling approach.
  • Strong knowledge of the APAC markets across multiple industry sectors.
  • Experience of managing large RFPs/Tenders projects.
  • Natural aptitude towards human connection to collaborate and lead teams to a common goal.
  • Ability to influence decision making and work across executive and operational levels.
  • Minimum seven years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Clear history of consultative and value selling for HR/Tech consulting services.
  • Large volume sales experience.
  • Experience with broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve and twenty-four months).
  • Ability to travel regularly to build relationships towards regional deals.
