- One year experience as a Wok Cook in a high volume restaurant.

- Prepares meals and other food items served in the wok area.
- Uses recipes and a variety of kitchen equipment to prepare Chinese food according the specifications.
- Possesses intimate knowledge of Chinese style cooking as well as an overall understanding of Chinese and general Asian cooking techniques.
- Possesses intimate knowledge of wok operation, rice cookery, specialized Asian vegetable cuts, and sauces related to stir fry and Chinese cooking.
- Monitors customer flow and estimated daily food requirements and supplies,requisitioning items needed on a daily basis.6.Bakes, roasts, boils, fries, and steams meat, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
- Informs Supervisor of any irregularities occurring within the food preparation operation and of customer complaints or other disputes which cannot be readily resolved.
- Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an accident report in the event an accident occurs.
- Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.
- Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies Supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
