Position Overview:As a Project Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bolstering our company’s sales. Your oversight will extend across delivering proof of concepts, interactions with potential/ existing customers to retain/grow client pools as well as to keep track on deliverables by our colleagues when carrying out projects/sales.

Given that your role has a global scope, you will need the flexibility to work varying hours to cover different time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company’s products or services to customers.
  • Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
  • Understand customer demands and requirements and offer sales support whenever necessary.
  • Generating high quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, and completing sales.
  • Helping customers who have problems with installed/ existing products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery/ plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands. Being able to explain how the improvement can be more effective for customers.
  • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
  • Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
  • Fluent with technical aspects of the company’s products and services.
  • Follow through with ongoing projects and ensure timeline/ deliverables are up to customer’s requirements set beforehand.
