About the Role
CBRE Malaysia is seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our Facilities Management team. You will be responsible for leading the operations, maintenance, and performance of building systems across assigned facilities or portfolios.The role also includes workforce leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring operational excellence in line with CBRE’s global standards.
Here's a snapshot of your day:
- Lead day-to-day technical operations across building systems (e.g. HVAC, fire/life safety, plumbing, electrical).
- Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure alignment with safety and compliance standards.
- Supervise and develop on-site teams, including training, performance evaluation, and coaching.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
- Contribute to budgeting, capital improvement planning, and maintaining procedural documentation.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Equivalent technical qualifications with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in facilities, technical operations, or engineering services.
- Proven experience in managing teams and external service providers.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
