- Demonstrate basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data entry and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping tasks and processes.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new accounting software and systems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are essential for interacting with a diverse clientele and internal teams.
- Willingness to work full-time at our office located at Tanjung Tokong
- Assist senior accountants and tax consultants in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports.
- Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.
- Support the bookkeeping process by reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of audit working papers and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Help in the preparation of payroll and related tax filings.
- Utilize accounting software to record transactions, generate reports, and manage financial data.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide basic support.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.
