Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Banking/Finance/Accountancy.
- At least 7-10 years of relevant experience is needed for this position.
- Preferably candidates with Auditing and/or Investment Banking knowledge, along with taxation experience.
- Able to work independently and enthusiastic to learn new things.
- Strong analytical skills, especially in financial planning, risk management, and strategy.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a control mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills.
- Prepare, manage and review financial models for forecasting, budgeting and project planning. This is inclusive of support project cashflow analysis, cash generation, liquidity calculation and risk assessment.
- Analyse financial data for new project implementation, identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance of the company including implementation of strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
- Review financial reports for external stakeholders and ensure compliance with bank loan/financing agreement(s)
- Assisting other business units for financial project fundings and develop strategies.
- To arrange and gather market intelligence from financial institutions and other sources for the Company based on strategic direction and analysis of business requirements. This is also inclusive of monitoring and analysing market trends and industry developments.
- Ensure the company meets its cash requirements, both subsidiaries and projects, tracking cash flows, defining guidelines and procedures along with evaluating various funding opportunities, negotiating terms & condition, limits, products, and services with banks and lenders.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax positions where applicable.
- Develop a strong relationship with banks, lenders, and JV partners and ensure financial contracts are up-to-date and all financial obligations are met.
- Negotiate, manage and review financial contracts and agreements.
- Monitor credit and financial markets, tracking rates on new transactions and supporting funding decisions.
