This client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to conduct due diligence exercises on potential M&A transactions, analyse company performance, review financial models, and interact with financiers.

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of valuation methodologies, proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, and strong communication skills. This role requires flexibility in travel and work schedule.

What you'll do:

As a Corporate Manager, you will play a pivotal role in conducting due diligence exercises on potential M&A transactions. You will be responsible for consolidating and analysing financial data, reviewing financial models, and conducting ad hoc researches.

Your excellent communication skills will be utilised in drafting marketing documents and interacting with financiers on funding of transactions. You will also prepare annual reports, including write-ups and ESG reporting, and liaise with external bond holders, debt financiers, analysts.

  • Conduct due diligence exercises on potential M&A transactions
  • Consolidate and analyse financial data taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
  • Review financial models and conduct ad hoc researches
  • Draft marketing documents in MS Power Point or MS Word
  • Interact with financiers on funding of transactions and compliance with financing covenants
  • Prepare annual reports, including write-ups and ESG reporting
  • Liaise with external bond holders, debt financiers, analysts

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Corporate Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in the field. With a BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, you will have at least 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience. Your comprehensive understanding of valuation methodologies will be crucial to your success in this role.

Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications is required. Experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages is also essential. Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills are necessary for this role.
