Senior Accountant

You will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and supporting the finance team with timely deliverables.Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of working experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in SQL accounting software (experience with other ERP/accounting systems is an added advantage).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of Malaysian Accounting Standards (MFRS/IFRS).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Independent, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
• Manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare management reports, financial statements, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliation, accruals, and prepayments.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.
• Support process improvements and assist with system enhancements.
• Supervise or mentor junior team members where necessary.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
