Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: A Bachelor Degree in Accountancy Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred. Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1 years in a managerial capacity.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements. Solid experience in full-spectrum finance functions, including AR, AP, and GL. Hands-on experience in preparing consolidated accounts.
Manage quarterly financial reporting and Annual Report to Bursa Malaysia. Review and ensure timely submission of statutory returns, including tax filings, SST, Einvoice and other regulatory requirements. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and manage banking relationships.
Develop and implement effective financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to assist management in strategic decision-making.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business plans and operational improvements. Ensure compliance with relevant financial and corporate governance standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
